Inspired by traditional oriental cookies, Panmela Castro's "Fortune Cookies" invite visitors to take part in a ritual of recognition and celebration of the women that marked and will mark our lives. Each cookie, when broken, reveals a message: a fortune that not only inspires but also honors the lasting impact of these women on our trajectories.

Beyond the initial proposition of the artwork, the act of eating inside the museum space challenges conventional standards, breaking down the barriers between the artistic object and the spectator. This transgression is not just physical but also symbolic, reinforcing the role of the public as co creator of the artistic experience. By participating, visitors not only interact with the work but also incorporate the artistic process, transforming an everyday act into a shared experience of reflection and connection.
