Transcription of the manuscript:
It was the year 2003, on television the telenovela “Chocolate com Pimenta”. I remember the character Bernadette, a girl with some “strange” behaviors, she was masculine and liked everything that was related to this masculine universe. At a certain point in history, it is discovered that her mother raised her as a girl, but she was always a boy. I was nine years old when I watched this soap opera, and I only watched it because of this character, there was something about this story that attracted me... a prayer “I wish this was the story of my life”. It was strange to want that, but I wanted to, I always thought they were lying to me, that in fact I was born a boy and they cut my penis in the maternity ward, but at the same time I was afraid, they would think I was crazy. All I could do was wait and be.
