Affective Objects

Objects carrying personal stories — silent, sweet, painful, or ambiguous — are deposited by the public into a kind of cocoon. The artist then activates a process of re-signification, in which individual intimacy is transformed into a collective and timeless work: through digital modeling in virtual reality, these memories are reinterpreted as abstract forms. The resulting sculptures are 3D printed and cast in bronze, gaining physical permanence without losing their affective and relational origin.

The act of entrusting an object to the artist marks a transition: what was personal becomes public; what was finite is transformed into permanence. Affective Objects is an invitation to surrender and to the symbolic elaboration of memory. It also reflects on the role of art as a space for care, healing, and collective transformation, where the intimate and the political intertwine.
